Planning information
Our calculators, guides and Project Sheets provide information for home-project planning. They are not supplier quotes, orders, reservations or guarantees of price, availability or delivery. They do not provide professional engineering, construction or legal advice. Ask a qualified professional when structural performance, drainage, permits, safety or legal requirements depend on your project.
Measurements and project conditions
You are responsible for checking your measurements, units, site conditions and whether the calculation method fits the work. Results depend on your inputs. A mathematically correct result can still be unsuitable if the inputs or assumptions do not match your project.
Estimates and supplier information
Confirm material specifications, loose or finished condition, selling increments, minimum orders, prices, delivery, fees and taxes with your supplier. Result labels and pending questions explain the basis and limits of a result; they do not mean we independently verified your inputs.
Measured quantities, planning quantities and purchase quantities describe different stages. Product coverage and package contents require confirmation. Countertop billable area and pricing require supplier or fabricator confirmation; measured area does not determine slab layout, yield or fabrication design. Unknown costs are not zero. Pre-tax Total excludes taxes. A Project Sheet is a planning record, not an accepted order. Review it with your supplier or fabricator before buying.
Stair geometry and comparisons with limits you supply are not construction approval or a code-compliance determination. Confirm the source, edition and applicability of those limits with the responsible local authority or qualified designer. Headroom, landings, handrails, guards and structural design remain separate questions.
Acceptable use
Use the tools lawfully. Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code or use the site to deceive others. Do not enter sensitive personal information into search or project fields. Printing or saving your own Project Sheet for a project or supplier conversation is an intended use.
Intellectual property and external references
Site content and software are subject to applicable intellectual property rights and any stated licenses. Using the tools does not transfer ownership. You may use your Project Sheet for your own planning and supplier discussions. Do not misrepresent our content as your own or remove notices required by an applicable license.
Links to external references are provided where useful. We do not control those websites; a reference does not establish an endorsement or guarantee. Their own terms and privacy practices apply.
Accuracy, availability and responsibility
We aim to make calculations and limitations clear, but cannot guarantee that every guide or reference is complete, current or suitable for every project. Features may change and uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Keep a copy of a Project Sheet you need; we do not provide persistent project recovery.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user inputs, unconfirmed supplier facts or use outside the stated scope of a tool. This does not exclude liability or remove rights and remedies that the law does not allow to be excluded.
Applicable law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other rights that apply where you live. Nothing here requires you to waive those protections. Contact us if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it.
